In-N-Out Adds 2 New Menu Items for the First Time Since 2018

In-N-Out is gifting customers with the first menu items in five years this holiday season.

The beloved California-based chain announced that it is now serving Lite Pink Lemonade and Cherry Coke, marking the first additions to the menu since 2018’s hot cocoa introduction.

“We are so excited to share two new options on our beverage menu that we think you are going to love! Stop by an In-N-Out Burger today to try our new beverages,” the social media announcement read.

The lemonade—made with lemon juice and sweetened with stevia and monk fruit—offers a lower-calorie alternative to the fan-favorite classic pink lemonade.

Cherry Coke, a cherry version of Coca-Cola, joins the other Coca-Cola-owned items already available like Coke and Barq’s root beer.

The menu adds also come as the chain—which first opened in 1948 as a small stand in Baldwin Park, CA—celebrates its 75th anniversary.

Needless to say, fans couldn’t contain their excitement about the new offerings, with one writing, “Cherry coke is a legendary choice” and “Yall kinda ate with this cherry coke choice!!!!!!”

“LITE PINK LEMONADE YES !!!! BEEN WAITING FOR THIS FOR YEARS 🙌” someone else declared, as a third noted that the decision was a “game changer.”

Another customer understood just how meaningful the moment was, stating, “This kind of change is rare and in this case I welcome it because it’s reminiscent of In-N-Out’s roots in the 40s and 50s. I love In-N-Out!”

In-N-Out currently operates 400 locations in the West and Southwest (which is a bummer for those living anywhere else), though there are plans to expand East with the first location in Tennessee opening soon.

Customers favor the chain for its simplistic menu, which consists of a double-double burger, a cheeseburger, and french fries—all of which can be made “animal style”—along with the aforementioned beverages and three flavors of shakes.
